Shaldon Open Gardens Bloom for a Great Cause!

Once again, our Shaldon branch was delighted to support the local branch of Cancer Research by promoting the annual Open Garden Weekend held this year on June 7th and 8th. This popular event attracts a wide variety of gardens, from charming small courtyards to expansive, beautifully manicured spaces, drawing visitors from near and far.

Our Shaldon team played an active role, designing and collating the event brochure and map, creating and installing display boards throughout the village, and managing ticket sales. This year, they also collected tombola prizes to help raise funds for this worthwhile cause.

Despite the challenging wet weather on Saturday, the event raised an astonishing £3,334 at the last count - a testament to the community’s generosity and spirit. Being part of the Shaldon village means a great deal to our team, who take pride in supporting local events and giving back however they can.
