Every year, property website Rightmove carries out a survey whereby they ask people in Great Britain how they feel about where they live, what they love about their local areas and what makes a place really feel like home.

In their 11th year of carrying out this survey, they have heard from 21,000 people who have put the seaside town of St Ives right at the top of their list. Residents have scored their local areas on things like community spirit, how much access they have to nature and green spaces as well as artistic and cultural activities.

The residents of the harbour town have scored their hometown highly for community spirit, how comfortable residents feel to be themselves, and the sense of belonging they have.
