St Just Make History with 20th Vinter Cup Victory!

Bradleys are proud to congratulate St Just Cricket Club, who have officially cemented their place in local cricketing history by winning the Bradleys Vinter Cup Final for a record-breaking 20th time.

In a thrilling showdown held on Wednesday evening at Camborne, St Just triumphed over a determined Penzance Cricket Club side to once again lift the prestigious trophy. The match was a showcase of grit, skill, and sporting excellence - and we're thrilled to have supported it.

Batting first, St Just showed composure and resilience, posting a total of 153 for 7. Key partnerships helped steady the innings under pressure, giving them a platform to build on - even if the final score didn’t appear unassailable at first glance.

It was in the field where St Just truly shone. Their energy and precision were unmatched, as they executed a series of outstanding catches and athletic stops to stifle the Penzance chase. The mounting pressure proved too much for their opponents, who were bowled out for 109, falling well short of the target.

We’d like to give a special mention to Ben Stevens, who not only played a key role on the field for St Just, but is also a Chartered Surveyor with Bradleys Surveyors in our Cornwall office. Seeing a member of the Bradleys family contributing to such a memorable win made the night even more special for us as event sponsors.
