Sunrise Cornwall CIC Takes on the Three Peaks Challenge

This weekend sees 14 incredible members of the Sunrise Cornwall CIC community, including supporters and facilitators, taking on one of the UK’s toughest endurance challenges – the Three Peaks Challenge.

Among the team is Nick Jewell, Bradleys Camborne Branch Manager, who is also a facilitator for Sunrise Cornwall CIC.

The team will climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), covering around 24 miles and more than 3,000 metres of ascent, all while raising vital funds for Sunrise Cornwall CIC.

Nick said:

“I’m really looking forward to taking on the Three Peaks Challenge alongside the Sunrise community. It’s certainly going to be a challenge but knowing that we’re raising money to help Sunrise continue its important work makes all the training and hard work worthwhile.”

Sunrise provides free, safe and supportive events, workshops and activities for adults affected by suicide loss across Cornwall. Fundraising plays an important role in helping the organisation continue this work, as well as training new facilitators and creating safe spaces for those who need support.

Every donation, no matter the size, can help Sunrise continue making a difference to adults affected by suicide loss across Cornwall.
