Tuesday 6th December saw the return of the annual Lord Taverners event which supports young people with disabilities through sport and recreational activities, for those most at risk including those from deprived areas across the region.
The day featured compere David Fitzgerald alongside comedian Nick Page from Britain’s Got Talent, with various games and an in-house silent auction. Yet again, this year saw another determined audience raise as much money as possible and the event once again proved to be a success with £73,000 raised.
Bradleys New Homes Director, Kevin James, commented “Supporting our local communities is a key part of the Bradleys culture and has been since we opened our doors over 30 years ago. We are delighted to be able to attend and contribute towards this charity event in order to support the Lord Taverners organisation. It was great to see the number of local people looking to do the same and makes us proud of where we live and making more people aware of this truly inspiring cause.”
