Talents on show at the Woodbury Park Ladies Open!

On Thursday 18^th July 2024, Woodbury Park held their annual Ladies’ Open, with the sun shining and the perfectly manicured greens, there was a packed field of 87 ladies ready and waiting to play!

With the event now going into its 21^st year, it was again sponsored by Bradleys Estate Agents, featuring entrants from clubs all over Devon.

The team winners were Ely Walmsley, Lis Collier and Anusara Trayling with 83 points – Ely Walmsley came second last year so they was very happy to win this time round! Each winner received a very impressive Silver Trophy, presented by the Woodbury Golf Manager Rob Glazier.

There were various opportunities for raising monies and making donations throughout the day with the money going towards the Vranch House. This is a centre for the treatment of over 2,000 outpatients with physical difficulties, a provider of various therapies throughout Devon and an independent Day School in Exeter for children with significant physical difficulties. The total raised was £600.00!
