The Bradleys Sidmouth branch supports Wear A Hat Day

- Wed 16 Mar 2022

On Saturday 26th March, residents of the seaside town of Sidmouth are pledging to walk 1,560 lengths of the seafront to raise money for Brain Tumour Research. A charity that aims to increase the UK investment in brain tumour research. Sadly, brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this and our Bradleys Sidmouth branch are supporting the rest of the Sidmouth community by getting involved in the Wear A Hat Day event. Every year, the charity holds Wear A Hat Day in March as a fundraising and awareness event. For the last few years, Sidmouth has held its own Wear A Hat event in support of local brain tumour patients Charlie Gwillim and Charlotte Reid.

Stephen French, Negotiator from our Bradleys Sidmouth Branch commented “Bradleys are delighted to be involved with this fund raising event raising local funds and awareness as part of a National campaign. Charlie and Charlotte are two local girls known to the office, who we are strong supports of, having raised funds for this worthy cause previously. For more details please click here
