The weather was set fair for the weekend of the second Somserset County Show at Taunton Racecourse on the 17th and 18th September, which helped attract record crowds.
The event featured a range of agricultural events including the Alpaca Village, Dog agility shows as well as a range of equestrian events all proving a hit with the thousands watching on.
Stalls ranged from live wood turning, handmade soaps, garden machinery, clothing, jewellery, range of animal stalls as well as the very popular fairground rides.
Always a popular marquee was the food and drink area, which was sponsored by Bradleys Estate Agents, and was host to an excellent selection of local produce including cheeses, gins, wines, pastries as well as cider and ales!
With an expected attendance in excess of 10,000 people over both days it is fairly safe to say that a good time was had by all and the event will continue to grow in size and popularity in the coming years.
