Three Peaks Challenge: Sunrise Cornwall's Next Fundraising Adventure

- Wed 26 Aug 2026

Following the incredible efforts of the five gents who successfully completed the Penny Farthing Challenge in memory of Ed, it's time for the next fundraising adventure!

Fundraising is vital in helping Sunrise Cornwall CIC continue to offer free, safe and supportive events, as well as training new facilitators to support our growing community. Every pound raised helps us provide free events, workshops and activities for adults affected by suicide loss across Cornwall.

At the end of September, 14 incredible members of the Sunrise community, including supporters, facilitators and our Co-Founding Directors, Elliott and Serena, will be taking on one of the UK's toughest endurance events: the Three Peaks Challenge. The team will climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) within 24 hours.

Among those taking part is Nick Jewell, Manager of Bradleys Estate Agents' Camborne office, who is proud to be supporting a cause that is particularly close to his heart.

Together, the team will cover approximately 24 miles, ascend more than 3,000 metres and push themselves to their limits, all for one purpose: helping to ensure Sunrise can continue supporting those who need it most.

Nick said:

"I'm delighted to be taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge to support Sunrise Cornwall and the incredible work they do for adults affected by suicide loss. It's a cause that means a great deal to me personally, which makes this challenge even more important.

Training has been a little more challenging than expected as I'm currently recovering from an injury, but that's only strengthened my determination to complete the challenge. Knowing the difference Sunrise makes to so many people across Cornwall is a huge motivation, and I'm looking forward to taking on the Three Peaks alongside the rest of the team."

Today, we are proud to launch our Three Peaks Challenge Crowdfunder. Every donation, regardless of size, will help us continue creating safe spaces, reducing the stigma surrounding suicide loss and bringing hope to adults across Cornwall.

If you are able to support our team, we would be incredibly grateful. If donating is not possible, sharing this appeal with family, friends and colleagues is another wonderful way to support the challenge and help us reach even more people.

14 people. One challenge. One purpose.

Thank you, as always, for believing in Sunrise Cornwall CIC and the work we do. Your support enables us to make a real difference to the lives of adults affected by suicide loss across Cornwall.
