Woodbury Park Ladies Open proves to be as popular as ever

On Thursday 21st July, Woodbury Park held their annual Ladies’ Open in which they celebrated the 19th occasion of the event being sponsored by Bradleys Estate Agents. It was a glorious day that all teams thoroughly enjoyed, leading in to the evening whereby Marketing Director, Kai Logan presented the awards to the winning team and runners up.

Kai presented the Bradleys Cup to Janet, Janet and Julie from Cricket St Thomas Golf Club near Chard who won the tournament with 83 points. There ended up being 7 teams who were presented with prizes as there was only a 3 point difference between the top teams, so an extremely close call when it came to the last couple of rounds.

Kai commented “It’s great to see this event proving as popular as ever, with 111 participants including some fresh faces excited about a day on the golf course with their friends. Congratulations to the winning team and to everyone taking part who played a fantastic round of golf on the day. We are delighted to sponsor this event and look forward to sponsoring it for the 20th time in 2023.”
