I started my Estate Agency career in 1987 working as a trainee Negotiator for Black Horse Agencies – Buckell and Ballard in North Oxfordshire, quickly rising up the ranks to Valuation Manager, working in the Towns of Banbury, Brackley, Chipping Norton, Witney and Bicester, before moving down to the Brighton area, where I started my first Managerial role for a small independent agent in Southwick by sea, later I worked in East Grinstead, Horsham, Haslemere and Petersfield, before making the decision with my wife to move to the West Country.

In 2001 I started at Miller & Son in Launceston, working for Kivells and Fulfords in Liskeard, Okehampton and Tavistock, before returning to Launceston as a Director of Mansbridge Balment. In 2019 I worked in the New Homes and Retirement Living sectors of the property market, returning to Agency in in 2024, now taking up the exciting role as Branch Manager at Bradleys, Okehampton.

I live in Tavistock with my wife and two sons (with one at university and one doing his “A” levels). I am an enthusiastic DIY’er and love always having a “project” on the go. I follow my home team of Oxford United and love sport of all types (and still play 5 a side and 20/20 cricket). I really enjoy live music and comedy. I am a former Round Tabler and current 41 Club member and enthusiastically embrace the social side of raising money for the community.
