Following the success of the inaugural event in 2018, this year’s Bradleys 10k proved to be bigger and better. Despite the slightly wet and windy weather conditions, a staggering 600 partakers from all over Devon attended, many of which were running in aid of the events nominated charity- Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Exmouth seafront was swarmed with runners, volunteers and spectators who certainly didn’t let the rain dampen their buoyant spirits. Bradleys had 9 members of staff complete the race, doing themselves very proud. The quickest was Robin Burne, Budleigh Salterton Branch Manager, who set the challenge for the rest with a time of 44 mins 35 seconds.
Event co-ordinator Lizzie Mayne commented: “I am so pleased to see the increase in numbers of both runners and spectators year to year, the support has been incredible!” Let’s hope we can top this fantastic turn out again next year.
Exmouth Branch Manager for Bradleys, Lisa Findel-Hawkins added “It was such a great day, the atmosphere was amazing and all the runners did really well in tough conditions. I’m also delighted that over £500 was raised on the day and hopefully this will be added to. I can’t wait for next year’s already.”>/p>
